Hardware Requirements

PizzaOne POS is very efficient and has a very low overhead, so it runs extremely fast on most hardware.  PizzaOne POS needs less than 30 Megs of Hard Disk space for a full install, but as you use the system the needed space requirement will grow. This is hardly an issue with todays systems. Since POS Pizza’s overhead is very low, you will find that this system is rock solid and performs very well on most mid sized systems as well as on larger systems. The nice thing is that PizzaOne POS does not demand large amounts of hardware in order for it to operate.

Additional Special Hardware

There are no special hardware requirements. With PizzaOne POS you have lots of flexibility as to what size of POS system you want to install. You can start out with everything, or start small and build up as you need to. PizzaOne POS will support any standard printer for receipts such as an InkJet, Laser, or Dot Matrix. You also have the option of using POS Printers as well, such as the Epson TM-U220. The POS Printers print to continuous rolls of paper. You can also choose not to print at all, or only to print at certain stations. PizzaOne POS is extremely configurable and very scalable.

Networks

PizzaOne POS is also compatible with any File-Sharing type network that supports Windows 32-Bit clients.  PizzaOne POS has been tested with many types of networks. The only thing needed is that all of the machines on your network have FULL access to the directory where PizzaOne POS is installed. A network is an option, if you are only running a single cash register station, no network is needed. If you want to run 2 or more nodes then a network is required. The upside to this is you can easily share other resources such as printers, so you won’t have to buy a printer for each station.
